October - November
Asana: Twists, backbends; Philosophy: Eight Limbs of Pantanjali; Yoga to Balance the Chakras, Assists and Corrects, Sequencing, Anatomy and class reports; Homework Workshops: Energy Pranic Healing with Jerry Becker (Milwaukee) and Anatomy with Dr. Buegel (Milwaukee)
November - December
Asana: Twists, Backbends; Pranayama, Kriyas, Yoga to Balance the Chakras, Assists and Corrects, Sequencing, Anatomy and class reports; Homework: read Perfect Health
January - February
Asana: Vinyasa, Sequencing, Introduction to Ayurveda - Dinacharya, Bandhas; Astral Anatomy; Homework: read Yoga for Your Type; Workshop: Yoga During Pregnancy (Milwaukee)
February - March
Asana: Inversions, Arm Balances, Assists and Corrects; Restoratives; Props, Anatomy; Homework: practice asana names and chants; Workshop: Language of Yoga
March - April
Asana: Sequencing; Philosophy: Paths of Yoga; Teaching methodology; Teaching children, pregnant women and seniors. Anatomy: Injuries, Disease and Asana; Homework: develop, teach and record a beginner level class.
April - May
Asana: Vinyasa; Practice teaching; Teaching philosophy, Meditation and Pranayama; Homework: develop, teach and record an intermediate level class. Workshop: Ayurvedic Principles & Cooking
May - June

Tuition:
The tuition for the Yoga Teacher Training course is $2600. An early discount of $200 is available if registered before August 10. A $100 non-refundable registration fee and $200 deposit must be paid in order to reserve a student’s enrollment space. This deposit will be deducted from the student’s tuition upon acceptance to reserve a space. Tuition may be paid in full at the time of application (required for the early registration discount) or in three payments due at the first, fourth and eighth month in which classes are held.
Payments may be made by cash, check or credit card to Kanyakumari.
Students are expected to spend approximately 4 hours per week on homework and studying outside of class. There are routine quizzes and exams to assure that graduates have a good grasp of all material covered before being certified.
Students should plan accordingly for additional costs related to their studies which may include lodging, transportation, meals, photocopying, professional attire and required workshops.
